Okay, so after a long and arduous 16 hours here, we have finally gotten the servers back online, patched-up, and ready to go again. Last night right around 9pm we got hit with a massive DDoS attack that exploited a vulnerability in the DNS hosting portion of the machines. We patched it up with the latest secure version of the DNS service so this shouldn't be an issue again moving forward. While we were at it, we installed some more security layers, upgraded other portions of the servers, and did some routine disk checks. Amazingly it had been over 500 days since the last reboot of the main webserver - a testament to it's stability and reliability! ;D
PLEASE NOTE: All live auctions were extended by precisely 24 hours to account for the downtime and give your auction the amount of time you desired to be seen. If anyone would like the closing time reduced back to what it used to be, please let me know and I'll take care of it for you.
Thanks for your patience and support in this issue!
